Italio - Orland Park, IL - FREE FOOD DAY Jan 28th!

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are 100% true and my own!

Alright, this almost sounds too good to be true... But, it's not!

Think of if Subway and Chipotle combined to an Italian theme. That's what Italio is like.

Walk in and down the line to form your own Italian creation.

Begin by choosing a Pasta Bowl, a Piadina (Italian wrap), or a Salad Bowl.

Then add your entree, sauce, toppings, and extras. (Don't forget to try an order of their famous Cannoli chips!)

Here's a sample of their menu -

They have been very successful at their few locations currently in Florida. But that isn't enough. Chicagoland is getting their share! Italio is opening it's first location outside of Florida, in Orland Park, Illinois. Which just happens to be about 25 minutes from me! I am extremely excited, because I love the concept, and who doesn't like quick Italian food?

They will be giving out FREE FOOD to anyone and everyone on Tuesday January 28th, beginning at 10:45am! One complimentary entree per person will be given free. No gimmicks, just free food. It's their "welcome to the neighborhood".

15139 S LaGrange Rd. Orland Park, IL is the location, and they will be open every day until 10pm. I hope everyone can make it out to the FREE FOOD day, but if not be sure to stop by any time! The prices are low, and the food is fresh!

Thanks to Italio Kitchen for allowing me to be a part of this special Grand Opening!

Mangiamo!

Day 19 - Have A Newborn? Get To Work!

9:54pm

Worked at a different store today. It was my day off but a newborn needs lots of $$$$. So I decided to go help out and get the overtime.

I'm exhausted right now. Just got back from Walgreens and Walmart. Little B did great.

Did I mention yesterday that she has gained one pound and three inches in length? What a little chunker! She's always hungry so I'm not suprised.

The nice new cake display that was at the new store today. I might have drooled on the glass a bit... Sorry!

Day 14 - Breaking Bad Halloween

6:43pm

We are preparing for the season finale of Breaking Bad. They have been playing the whole series, marathon-style, for the last couple days, leading up to the finale. So these last few episodes have really been tense. Can't wait to see what happens at the end!! So instead of spending time on the blog, I will leave you with a few photos of our Halloween decorations so far...

Getting excited for our first trick-or-treaters ever. (This is our first place, for any new readers. And if you are new, why not start from the beginning? Week 10 Day 1

Some little baby feet I seen peeking out.

Week 30 Day 7 - WhirlyBall

8:17pm

So yesterday we finished the baby's room. Or at least got it painted and all of the "storage" stuff out of there. Today I worked all day, and my wife met me at the grocery store when I got off. We picked up a bunch of groceries (not like we don't already have a freezer full). But most of our snack foods were depleted. That's what we eat the most of. Oh, and milk and eggs.

We are probably going to eat a quick dinner and then start setting up her crib tonight. I was planning on doing it Tuesday, my day off, but some circumstances changed at work, and I might have to go in Tuesday night. It would all be overtime so it's hard to pass that opportunity up. Hopefully we can get it done tonight, it says one hour on the box, but I know it's probably going to take just a little longer than that.

Last night we went out for my wife's sister's birthday. She had a party at a "WhirlyBall" place. I'm not too sure if these are worldwide, or how well known this "sport" is, but it was pretty neat. It was our first time there, and their are a few locations around Chicago. Some of my friends have gone there before, and always talked about how much fun it is. It's basically like a large basketball court, but you are in bumper cars, and hold scoops and a ball. You can pass the ball to others, using your "scoop". It reminded me of LaCrosse but on a basketball court, in bumper cars. You can see their website - http://www.whirlyball.com

Week 28 Day 5 - Home Run Inn & Instagram

10:14am

Alright I need to advise everyone that the Instagram account was deactivated. Why? I'm not really sure. I am thinking that I "violated" their privacy terms by posting a picture of Paula Deen. So Paula, if your reading this, just know that not only are you ruining your career, but your affecting my blogging as well! Thanks, Paula.

Anyways I have started a new account, @PregoForMenBlog. Guess I will try to follow the rules better this time. Sorry, Paula.

We received the baby shower invites yesterday in the mail. But before putting them together we went out for pizza at Home Run Inn with my grandparents, and uncle and cousin. They have the BEST pizza. I'm not sure if they are available frozen outside of the Chicagoland area, but if they are, buy one and try it. The restaurants create an even better environment, plus the pizza is made fresh, obviously. Delicious!

Spent some time at their house afterwards, talking, and checking out my grandpa's goldfish pond.

We received the baby shower invitations yesterday in the mail. We were up late last night putting them together. Now just need to get the postage, and get them in the mail! Pictures will be up when people receive them, don't want to spoil anything yet!

Week 28 Day 2 - Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup Champions 2013

10:43am

For those of you that know me, or keep up with my writing, you know that I am a big Chicago Blackhawks fan.

Last night they were losing 1-2 with only two minutes left in the game. They scored two goals within 17 seconds of eachother, to win game 6 of the final series, to win the Stanley Cup Trophy (equivalent to the World Series in baseball, or Super Bowl in football). They won in 2010 also, for the first time in a while. It's very exciting because you may know that most other Chicago sports teams aren't very good. Plus, hockey is exciting to watch.

Now you won't have to hear anything else about hockey for a while!

My wife has a doctor's appointment today, I think it is another ultrasound, but I could be wrong, she didn't really tell me what it was for. I have to work until 9pm so I won't be able to make it. She has to go next Tuesday as well, and that one I should be able to make it to. Can't wait to see her again, she is getting so big!

Hopefully we will take some new pictures tonight, or tomorrow with our Baby Bump stickers. We have a Week 28 sticker on the sheet.

Week 21 Day 3

9:39am

Up nice and early on my day off. Cleaned up around the house a little bit, have laundry going, and just finished a work out. Supposed to be nice out again today so I'm hoping to get a little motorcycle ride in before 1pm. I have to be home for delivery anywhere from 1pm-4pm. They always ruin the nice days off for me! At least this is the last furniture set that we need for a while. Bedroom set is next but that can wait.

My wife's friend had her baby. She showed me a picture this morning. He's really cute. I hope our little girl is cute but I already know she will be! I think her mother has more dominant traits so probably will look more like her, which is not a bad thing!

3:46pm

I went out for a quick ride around 12:30pm. It's almost too warm out. Well, no, it's never too warm. But I actually pulled into the subdivision a few minutes after 1pm directly behind the furniture delivery truck. Because our building is tricky to find amongst the rest, I was able to sneak past them by taking a different drive through the subdivision. They never knew I wasn't even home! The table and chairs look and fit great! We love it!

Once my wife gets it all situated in the dining area how she wants it I will put up a photo.

7:44pm

I am watching the Bulls vs. Heat basketball game while my wife makes dinner. I think she is making some Grilled Chicken Pasta with Vodka Sauce (no, not alcoholic). The Bulls won the last game in the playoff series vs. the Heat but tonight they are getting walked all over. I'm not much of a basketball fan but the playoffs have been pretty entertaining. Plus, I watch the Blackhawks and they usually alternate days where each sport plays. The bulls one night and then the Blackhawks the next night. There's always something to watch.

I don't think we are going to eat dinner at our new table because we don't have a tablecloth or placements for it. Would hate to scratch it already.

Ok as I am writing this I guess I am wrong.  She is setting the table now. Dinner time!
