I think it's time for some more pictures from the last month. She was four months old on January 15th. She is almost five months old now... I guess I am a little late...

Two Months Old Photos
Well, Bryn is a little over two months old now. If you haven't noticed, the blog hasn't been update for a while. That goes to show you how much work it is to have an infant. She is a lot of fun, though! Here's some pictures from around two months.

A Little Girl's Smile
A sperm meets an egg.
They fertilize.
Nine months pass.
A gift from God arrives.
This gift doesn't know how welcomed she is to the world.
Seven weeks later, the gift smiles at her dad, and he happens to catch it on camera.
And this little girl's smile is worth more than all the money in the world to him.

Week 39 Day 2 - Maternity Photos
9:18am
Our baby is now the size of a watermelon. Thanks BabyBump.com newsletter for the constant reminders of how big of a fruit my wife has inside her belly. Brain is still developing, more fat is being stored under the skin, etc. More fat? She already seemed fat enough in the ultrasound photos...
Don't be surprised if a 9 pound baby comes out of there. I won't be.
So we got our Maternity photos the other day. They came out really good. But if you know me, I can't have a photo that I didn't edit somehow. So I took a few and had my way with them. Let me know what you think!
We have all of the originals on a disk. Higher quality so if you would like prints let me know. (Mothers and/or Random Creeps)
I need to find a sponsor who will donate a new DSLR camera for me to play around with... Anyone? Sony? Canon? Nikon? Can you hear me, now? Verizon?

Week 36 Day 6 - Pulled Pork Photo Shoot
8:55pm
Holy hectic day. Had to be at work at 6am so that I could be off in time to make it to our maternity photo shoot.
I also made all kind of samples today. We have pork shoulders on sale for .99 a lb. They wanted me (the chef) to showcase them, so I made some BBQ Pulled Pork, and Pork Carnitas, too. Customers loved both. I loved both. Not only because it was delicious, but because it was a free lunch. Gotta love that. Store director praised me for my hard work. I guess that's good. Not sure how sincere it is, though.
We met up at my wife's sister's house after work. She lives literally 2 minutes from where we had the photo's taken. So I took a shower there, and got ready. My wife just had to do her makeup and get our outfits figured out.
Photos went well, I think. We will see when we get them. Should be in a couple weeks. It was a beautiful day, and the park we were at was also very nice. Would love to go back and spend a couple hours there walking around. I like nature-type things like that.
Looks like we are going to spend the night cleaning out our drawers. Lots of crap in there saved that we don't need. My wife is a hoarder, I swear.

Week 35 Day 5 - Chuck Taylor's and Pig's Feet?
9:10pm
Well it's almost baby shower time! I am not looking forward to lugging all the gifts home. I am not even sure where we are going to put it all. We have so much already, from people that have sent the gifts straight to our home. Yikes! Time for a bigger house!
Got my first pair of Chuck Taylors tonight. My wife had to pick up some shoes for the baby shower, so naturally, I get the second pair(because it was buy one, get one half off). Thanks Famous Footwear. Do you know what Chuck Taylors are? Converse!

I am only about 40 years late to that fashion party....
Here is a 34 week photo of the wife, and the spoiled little baby.
I am going to go eat my taco bell. We got some new "products" in at work. Made me crave mexican food. Hope you enjoy your meals after this one!
| Mmm, pig's feet! |
See, you could have my job. That's what I deal with on a daily basis. And lot's of fish, too. Nothing like smelling like a dirty salmon when you come home from work. Ask my wife, she will tell you.

Week 32 Day 3 - Sumo-Baby
9:51am
We finally got a few better pictures yesterday. Still not great. Still not photo-frame worthy. But a better idea of how she looks.
We stopped at my mom's afterwards. My wife and her decided to dig out my old photo albums from when I was a baby, to compare. It is a lot of fun to see old pictures of yourself. I don't remember a lot of them, so it was nice to see them again. Actually, I don't know if I have ever seen some of the newborn photos. Maybe I just don't remember, which happens to me a lot. At first I thought that she looks just like my wife, but after seeing my baby photos, she does look a lot like I did as a baby.
Baby is pretty chunky already. My wife said, about me, to the ultrasound tech, "Look she has your chin!". The ultrasound tech responded, "Which one?". She already has a little double chin! My wife was pretty chunky too when she was born. She looked like a little sumo-wrestler. Don't worry, she will tell you the same thing.
My wife has had a lot more energy lately. Which is good. For a while there, she didn't want to do much of anything. That's changed and she is up to going places, and getting things done.
I think we have some 32 week baby bump stickers around here somewhere. I'll have to get those out so we can take some updated pictures!

Week 30 Day 3 - What Is An Overnight Bag?
9:18am
Surprisingly, I am up and ready about an hour early for work. I typically sleep up until the last 5 minutes I have, before I will be late. Lunch is already made, had breakfast, wife is at work, and time to write today's blog.
We took some pictures last night of the "bump". Of course, my wife deleted about 90% of them because she thinks she looks "fat". I said, you are NOT fat! You are pregnant! You are supposed to have a belly! She better get over it because it's only going to get bigger the next 10 weeks... She seems to think that she has less than 10 weeks though, which is why I need to learn more about this "Overnight Bag".

Week 22 Day 6 - One Day Closer
1:06pm
7:49pm
So she pretty much has the whole house cleaned and reorganized. This is great, for me. I am a freak when it comes to clean and organized. For the most part, at least.
Things that really bother me:
Just another day closer to meeting our daughter.
My wife cleaned the house this morning while I am at work. She really shouldn't be doing too much physical work anymore I would imagine. But she is much better at it than I am. I usually do the laundry, dishes, vacuum, daily stuff. She likes to deep clean every once in a while. Hey, I can't complain.
She is out shopping now with her sister. She was going to go look for some summer dresses that she can wear to work because her clothes are starting to not fit anymore.
I have been pretty busy this morning trying to catch up on work and cook at the same time. Made some Texas BBQ Top Sirloin steak for samples today. Turned out really good. I am going to take my lunch break now, my wife left me some of her leftovers from an Italian restaurant that she had for lunch yesterday. Looks pretty good, an Italian sandwich and some marinated artichokes.

So she pretty much has the whole house cleaned and reorganized. This is great, for me. I am a freak when it comes to clean and organized. For the most part, at least.
Things that really bother me:
- Papers/Junk Mail anywhere but in the garbage
- Dishes in the sink
- Clutter on tables, or work surfaces
- Uncondensed containers in the refrigerator
- Dirty laundry anywhere but in the laundry basket
I am sure there are a few more that I will remember later, but will be too lazy to add them. Like right now, she is playing dance music on the stereo louder than I care for. I actually don't really like this style of music at all, which doesn't help. But it motivates her to keep cleaning, so I guess I can deal with it.
I was reading some the blog over at PregnantChicken.com and came across an article about "Horrible Pregnancy Photos". It takes a lot for me to literally laugh out loud at something I'm watching or reading. And my wife and I both got a pretty good laugh out of this picture...
